Hi again Nikki,
Three years post treatment, and looking back treatment doesn't seem bad compared to being virus free. My problem now is avoiding alcohol. Although I no longer have HCV attacking my liver, I  do have some liver damage, and Cirrhosis can go unnoticed until it is too late.

Anyway, you are young, and that increases to your chances of clearing the virus. While on treatment try to eat a healthy diet, exercise, and drink lots of water. That will make treatment go easier.

And you can come here with problems. Most the people on this board have already been through treatment.

Don't be scared. You can do it!

And Nikki, try not to worry too much about what people say.
Lots of people have, or did have this virus. Unless there is blood to blood contact, you aren't going to transmit HCV to anyone.

I found most people to be supportive.

I don't know if I have Hep c. One day I just woke up and felt bloated in my stomach. It's been a couple of days and I still feel bloated and tired. I've read these are a few of the symptoms. I was taking a lot of vitamins and drinking about a six pack of beer a day. I've quit both. What were your symptoms? any advice.

Just go get the blood test. Get tested for everything and sleep easy if they come up negative.
