hi my name is Sydney, I had the hideous treatment five yrs, ago, however it did save my life, I have been hep free for 5yrs, however i still have cirrhosis and fatty liver decease,
what i don't understand is what to expect. I have all the same pre treatment symptoms
yet on a much lesser scale. I never know is this pain from my liver or is it something Else? my doctor never seems to have definitive answers for me? any one have some insight?

What I might do in such a situation is ask for consultation with a gastroenterologist or hepatologist. ( I am assuming the doctor you mention is your primary care provider ... primary care docs are great but they may be less able to educate regards a complex illness then someone who deals with hundreds of people suffering from the same disease on a very regular basis. Your cirrhosis/fattyliver disease might benefit from such intervention ever so often anyway and maybe you would get more info on what to expect or not expect. Good luck.
